What if your fans could actually find and watch your “old” videos?

You know, the ones you posted more than two weeks ago.

Yes, you have an archive page on TikTok and Instagram. Yes, it contains all the videos you’ve posted.

But who can find anything on it?

You made a great video about tuning up your miter saw. (Or whatever - the topic doesn't matter.) The information is timeless. But the video might as well be locked in a safe. Your fans can't find it in the chaos of their liked and saved videos. And if they come to your video list they have to scroll through 1,000 thumbnails looking for it.

If you make multi-part series, you know the pain. Multi-part series are among the best ways to create sticky content that engages and builds trust. But if your viewer can’t find Part 2, your efforts are wasted.

What if you had a searchable archive?

Screens below are the live sample archive built with demo data and random old photos from the Library of Congress.

What if your followers could hit the page, start typing in the search box, and instantly see matching videos?

Typing “deck” in the search box instantly narrows the archive to 45 matching videos

What if they could filter your videos by the topics you talk about, browsing through what’s interesting to them?

The Home Upkeep filter button selected, showing that topic’s 40 videos

What if every thumbnail was now a card with the cover image, a title, and a short excerpt that helps your viewers find the exact content they’re looking for?

A video card: cover image, the title “Scrub Greasy Hands Clean With Sugar Mixed Into Dish Soap,” and a short excerpt with a Watch link

What if every series showed up in its entirety instead of getting lost?

Searching “part 2” brings up whole series: Part 1 of 5 through Part 4 of 5, each card linking to the other parts

You want it, right? Who wouldn’t?

But you have questions…

How exactly does it work?

What about new videos?

New posts are automatically added on a schedule. The system will categorize the video and identify the search terms, then publish it.

Am I locked in?

Nope. I hate that stuff. That’s why it’s at your domain. The content gets served from a separate server, but if you decide it’s not right for you, I’ll send you the files and you can install them on your own web host and point your domain toward them so it’s completely transparent to your users. Also, you can download the page files yourself at any time.

Note: the page will still work, but it won’t get updated.

What’s the setup process?

Easy. For TikTok, all you need to do is give your permission to access your content and the tool does the rest. For Instagram, you’ll also need to export your Reels and share the export so the tool can get the thumbnails and categorize the content.

The tool picks categories and writes the summary. You can change categories and tweak the text as needed.

The video is always on the original platform.

Pick one of the six base styles for the archive, or adjust it with the complete customizer.

Do you need access to any of my accounts?

Nope. The system puts a bright line between what you own and what the system touches. No password access to your social accounts, domain, email, anything.

What about cookies, privacy policies and terms of service?

The archive website is GDPR-compliant out of the box. No cookie consent is required. It doesn’t collect any personally identifiable information unless the newsletter and/or affiliate modules are turned on. You will need to provide a privacy policy, terms of service, and any other required legal pages. I can help you figure this out.

Who are you and why are you doing this?

I’m Joe, a small business consultant and serial DIY-er. I’ve been frustrated for years with how much great content on socials gets lost over time. I couldn’t find the DIY tips I’d saved on Instagram and TikTok, so I built diysolvr.com to make a searchable online directory. Along the way I realized the tools I was building could be used by a single creator to build an archive that their fans would love.

What does it cost?

$100 setup + $47/mo

(Early access pricing for the first 5 creators to sign up.)
